The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the complete set of features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range with Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and has a ton of customization options. It also sends you notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter has to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill, an option available in other GE refrigerators that allows you to choose how many cups of water you'd like to pour out simultaneously. It does have a countdown feature on the display of the fridge to display how much water you have left, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to appear like a seamless piece in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer periods, and two compressors to preserve food items. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient, and it produces pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This fridge is the perfect option for a single family or kitchenettes who want a sleek design and top-of-the-line food preservation.

The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators test, for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0°F and never fluctuated more than a fraction - this is crucial to avoid freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, achieving the desired initial set temperature within an hour and keeping that temperature steady throughout the course of our tests.

Bosch is a household name known for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that the Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is a great counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage into the frame's compact size. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge features an ordinary French-door design with gallon-sized door bins on each door, two rows of shelves that capture spills and a set sleeker drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded to provide more space for tall items. There's also a full-width drawer for food items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it easy to move the ice to the refrigerator for use when required. The freezer also comes with clever design features, such as sliding drawers that help you sort your things. It also has a huge bin that can hold plenty of frozen food items and a separate container for storing ice.

Another cool feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's an easy way to monitor your refrigerator and manage it, especially when not at home.

But while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact it took longer to defrost and chill foods in this fridge than some of the others we tried. This could be due to the greater capacity.

Another issue with the doors of this refrigerator. The sunken handles allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However taller people have a hard time closing them without slamming. It would have been much better to have front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a ideal option for those looking to combine the advantages of a fridge with a French door with an efficient layout. Its capacity is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a little less than the best counter depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, making it a desirable option.

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option when you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a basic fridge which may not be as eye-catching like some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make it a suitable option. Its most important feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser as well as a good Ice machine that is fast.

Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you redirect a portion of the fridge's cooling power directly to this area, meaning you can keep food items that require special attention. You can alter this feature by using an adjustable slider that is located just outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling level for the entire fridge, though I've found that adjusting the generic settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.

During my tests, the refrigerator's temperatures were fairly constant across the different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator didn't vary much from 38 degrees. This is a great performance, but it doesn't quite rank among the best in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with an intelligent thermometer to get more precise readings of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It does an excellent job of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing, even compared to glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tried.
