Best lightweight pushchair single stroller (like it)

Travel strollers don't get much lighter or more compact than this. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a stylish rectangle shape and the wheels are much easier to turn than others.

It also comes with a huge under-seat storage space and an arm-strap that makes it easier to lug around when not pushing it. But the canopy adjuster can cause a lot of noise, which might disturb a sleeping toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller with a lot of features for its size. The back basket under the seat is spring loaded, which means you can pull it down to store bags for diapers or backpacks in and it will pop up to keep the contents. It also comes with a tray for accessories for children as well as an adjustable reclining seat back pad that offer more options than what you usually see on a stroller with a light weight.

It also comes with a canopy that can be shut and opened to ensure that you get the level of sun protection you desire. The handlebars can be adjusted in height to allow for a comfortable fit four different positions. We weren't so impressed with the quality of its ride on rough surfaces. We found that the suspension and wheels did not do a great job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

The stroller is great for travel since it comes assembled in the box. It requires only a few simple steps to be ready to use. The seat can be pushed forward and backwards to alter the recline which is essentially flat. It's a cinch to fold and unfold due to two buttons on the frame. It also fits into an easy-to-carry bag when it's not in use. It's actually one of the smallest strollers that we tested and it easily meets most airline requirements for gate-checking or storage in the cabin on planes. Make sure you make sure to check with your airline prior to when you travel, as rules can vary. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is a great choice for those who need a stroller that is lightweight for travel. It has all the features parents desire in a stroller. This includes all-terrain wheels and front suspension for an easy ride. It's also very light and weighs less than 12 pounds. It folds by one hand, and then stand up on its own. It also has an adult tray and a child tray and two cup holders.

Its design isn't good, and it didn't do well in our maneuverability test. It has a flexible frame which makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting weights. It is possible that you only use the stroller on sidewalks with paved surfaces. However, for most people, it's not a good choice.

The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy that has a peek-aboo window to provide additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can hold children up 50 pounds and features a five-point safety restraint. This is a great choice for older toddlers that have outgrown their car seats for infants.

It has a one-step and compact folding mechanism that can be folded with only a click of the button. It also comes with an easy, foot-activated break that is simple to create and then release.

However, the handle is lower than other strollers we've tested, and some parents might feel uncomfortable for long durations. The handle is secured in place when it's open. This is an excellent feature if you plan to use the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal travel stroller for parents who are constantly moving. This compact stroller is easy to fold up and down, and fits easily in overhead compartments on planes, as well as in trunks at amusement parks (no worries about parking fees). It is also equipped with a simple-zip carrying bag that can be easily stored. It can be used right from birth using the infant car seat adapter, and provides a decent amount of coverage in the sun by way of its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only drawback is that some parents consider the design to be uninspiring and cheap single buggy.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a little more expensive than other lightweight single buggy with buggy board strollers however, it was created specifically for luxury urban living and travel. It's one of the smallest strollers to fold (and comes with a handy carry case) It also comes with plenty of storage space, including cups holder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller in our list with an adapter for car seats that can allow it to be used with a newborn. The handlebar isn't adjustable and could pose an issue for some parents who are small single stroller.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the lightest stroller, but it has a lot of great features to help children travel more easily. The spacious seat reclines into a flat position, and it comes with additional padding to make those plane napping sessions more comfortable. The extendable canopy offers excellent sun protection, while the parent tray has plenty of storage. It also features an adjustable handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. This footrest, however, appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

The Uppababy Minu V2 is a high-end stroller that doesn't skimp on quality or design. Its compact design allows it to easily navigate through tight spaces and narrow sidewalks, but its sturdy structure allows it to withstand rough terrain without compromising the safety of your child. The spring-action suspension on the front and back creates a more comfortable ride, and the durable materials ensure that it will stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. Plus, it can be expanded to accommodate other accessories such as baby car seat.

In our tests during our testing, the Minu was easy to fold and move around even with a child in hand. Its squat almost square fold which folds in thirds, is one of the most simple folds we've seen and allows it to easily fit in overhead compartments on planes or public transportation. It has a single gb stroller-action color-coded brake that is easy to use.

The seat reclines in a variety of positions and the leg rest can be adjusted using one hand, making it a breeze to determine your child's ideal position. The UPF 50+ hood went down quite a bit and was ideal for shielding Cora's eyes from sun (though not as low as other strollers). There is also a medium-sized mesh peek-aboo window that closes magnetically and adheres to the canopy instead of using noisy Velcro.

With a weight of less than 15 pounds at just under 15 pounds, the Minu is easy to carry with a built-in carry handle and shoulder strap. It can be put in the trunk of your vehicle, and comes with a storage case and Uppababy TravelSafe, which extends the warranty of the manufacturer by two years and provides the cost of replacement if something is damaged in the course of air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is a well-known brand that makes a number of different strollers. This light model is a great choice for parents who are looking for a sturdy stroller that can transport children around, provides ample storage space, is relatively simple to use and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. It's not the ideal choice for those who want a car seat-compatible model, or a double stroller, though. It's not compatible with infant car seats, and your children must be able to sit independently before they can use the stroller starting from the first day.

This stroller comes with some great features and a price. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other models with similar specs. It's also a great option for smooth paved surfaces. It has a huge parent tray, a canopy and plenty of storage. The handlebar is smaller than the average, and the front wheel suspension is more rigid but it's still comfortable for adults.

If you have twins or two kids with different ages, you could find that a side-by-side stroller is the best way to move them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which offers plenty of features, and has a slim footprint that fits in places that other side-by-side alternatives can't.

It has a large canopy, with a peek-aboo window, and tons of storage. It's heavier than the other side-bysides but it has a reasonable capacity to handle most kids up to 50 pounds. It is possible to add a bassinet on the front of the stroller for newborns.

If you want a more luxurious version of this stroller the Caboose Sit and Stand Stroller is a great alternative. It comes with the same great features and is able to be fitted with a bassinet so that you can take your baby home in style from the hospital.
