The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable cheap robot vacuum vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and create virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, Cheap robot vacuum it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the roborock robot vacuum and mop Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, so you can control it even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop robot vacuum and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots at this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
