The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do to map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot mop vacuum vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and robot mop Vacuum plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of one button. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart vacuum cleaner navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it encounters a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something requires attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can need. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
