The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and establish virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors better than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away whenever it comes across one.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that must be removed frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot vacuum with docking station and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're away from home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots at this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station. The center of the control panel includes the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, Vacuum mop Robot and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
