The hood can be lowered right to the baby's feet to provide sun protection or a cosy sleep and is very simple to use.

Another feature that is great is the reversible seat unit that allows you to alter the direction that your child faces. The reclining seat also offers great back and head support, so that your child can take a comfortable and peaceful nap in the carrycot or seat. Claire loved the large shopping basket which is accessible from the seat or carrycot unit in all positions. It can hold a whole packet of nappies and a changing bag!

The Xplory X premium stroller is available from Stokke. It is suitable for babies up to birth. It includes an infant pushchair, a chassis and a carrycot that can be placed on a flat surface. However, other accessories like the rain cover have to be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed 2in1 pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.

Thule is a name known for its cool and practical products and the Shine stroller is no exception. It's also easy to put together with the back wheels securing to the main frame right out of the box. If you buy the optional bassinet that is attached, it can be plugged in with ease and comes with carry handles similar to those of a Moses basket. When you're done with it, the pram folds down to a neat and compact size, allowing you to put it in the smallest car.

Thule's air purifier canopy is an eye-catcher as well, with an inbuilt fan that purifies the air you breathe to eliminate pollen, bacteria, viruses, and other nasty contaminants. Thule claims that it will remove 150 litres of air per minute and connects to an app that displays the quality of your air in your area.

The only issue is the cost. Although it's cheaper than other 2-in-1 prams, the complete set still costs more than PS1,000. It's a bit difficult to swallow when there are other options like Thule Spring. Thule Spring that is smaller and lighter and costs less than half as much.

Thule's strollers are known for their durability, and I've seen them through the testing rig at the Thule Hillerstop HQ in Sweden. They drop prams from heights and then slam them down slopes, and then run them over a bumpy buggy track in the snow to test their performance and durability. They look great!
