Best Self-Empting Robot Vacuums and Mops

The Eufy 11S robot vacuum is one of the most affordable self-emptying vacuums available on the market. It efficiently sucked up dry oatmeal from hard floors and carpets with a low pile during our tests. Its dust bin is simple to empty and openmuch easier than other models in the same price range.

It charges at its base, and then resumes cleaning when it's done. Its obstacle-avoidance tech gets tangled in cords and socks and it is unable to reach thresholds that are low.

1. iRobot 11S

It does a good job on carpets with medium or low pile. Like the Roomba from iRobot Roomba, it has a very large dirt compartment and utilizes BoostIQ to automatically adjust suction power. It also comes with an easy-to-use remote control to use and allows you to program daily cleaning routines with the app. Its battery lasts for about an hour and the dustbin can be emptied without removing it from the dock.

2. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is a great robot vacuum and mop with a surprising array of features for automation. The Roborock S7 MaxV comes in three different versions of the basic S7 model, the S7 Plus model and the S7 Ultra. Only the latter has an Empty Wash Fill Dock (or an alternative Auto-Empty Dock). These docks allow the robot to return to its base following a cleaning session, empty the collected debris into a dust collection bag or reservoir, drain its dirty water tank, and clean its mopping pad.

The S7's sensors work in tandem to eliminate obstacles and clean floors. It can identify the types of floors and save a map for rooms and zones. It can even detect dirt levels. It's also capable of scheduling and executing spot cleaning sessions. It was able to perform well in the standard tests, but did not perform as well as the Roomba j7+ during the carpet deep cleaning test.

With the companion app you can program the S7 to run a cleaning cycle according to your schedule. You can choose a time day, week, or even a day and select among a range of cleaning modes such as automatic, eco, and deep clean. You can also decide whether the robot vacuum and mop with self emptying will stop if it runs out of energy or encounters an obstacle.

If you don't have an iPhone however, you can still utilize the S7 by connecting a remote control to its charging dock. The remote controls can be a bit difficult to understand however once you get the hang of them, they work great.
