The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

This affordable robot vacuum vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, vacuum and mop combo but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and Vacuum and Mop Combo combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be cleaned out frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could wish for. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto mopper-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features you do not often find on robots in this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it a little more expensive than some homeowners need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The center of the control panel is a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
