The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do to map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can use it even if you're not home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can create precise floor maps and Best Robot Vacuum And Mop recognize different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open up the settings menu of the app where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
