Window Repairs

Window repairs can help homeowners save money and keep their homes comfortable. Window replacements may be required in the event of serious damage such as broken glass, or a broken window frame.

But there are many other issues that can be fixed to prolong the life of your windows. Common problems include:

Cracked or Broken Panes

The next step is to remove any rotten areas of the window frame. This can be done with either a chisel, a rasp or claw hammer. After removing the decayed wood, you'll need replace it with fresh wood. Pre-treated wood is recommended for this project since it will resist decay.
